Shards is now accepting donations to cover the operating expenses. A current accounting of our finances is always available on the Courtyard page. No donation is too small to help, so just feel whatever you feel like contributing. There are two ways you can donate.

Option 1: Checks and money orders may be sent to the following address:

Please send a note to starfyre@shattered-realms.com when you mail something, so I know to be on the lookout. Include your Shards account in the e-mail, so I can send you a confirmation when the check or money order is received. If nothing is received within a reasonable amount of time, you should cancel the check or money order. Please don't send cash due to the risk of mail being lost or stolen.

Option 2: Alternatively, if you have a paypal account, you can send a donation to Shards through paypal by clicking the button below. We are set up to accept credit card payments with Paypal. Just put Shards donation and (optionally) your handle in the Item field and enter the amount you are donating. Paypal currently charges a transaction fee of $.30 + 2.9% on all incoming transactions, or $.30 + 3.9% for international donations. This deduction will be accounted for in the donation counter. Please keep in mind that with the transaction fees, it is better to send one large donation than many small donations to avoid multiple "Paypal taxes" being taken out.
